Arrests made as Prince Charles visits Montreal

"Majesty Go Home" Montreal Protestors
MONTREAL — Montreal police dressed in riot gear faced demonstrators protesting the royal visit Tuesday of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, arresting at least two people. TV images of the protest showed more protesters being carried away by officers.
At the Black Watch armory, Prince Charles was to present new colours to the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada.
The royal event was postponed by 20 minutes as riot police tried to calm about 150 protesters.
Protesters carrying Quebec and nationalist flags had gathered across the street from the front entrance by 4 p.m. in preparation for the royal couple’s 5:30 p.m. arrival.
The demonstrators carried signs reading “Majesty Go Home” and chanted “democratie!”
